Interviewed for INKED

You might’ve noticed the inkOUTBREAK widget that showed up in the sidebar a little while ago. inkOUTBREAK is a new webcomics aggregator, and it’s shaping up to be one of the best. There’s no voting; it just shows you comics and you follow what you like, block what you don’t, and sort a personalized list according to your preferences — a list you can share with others. Nice and easy.
inkOUTBREAK also features a weekly INKED interview spotlighting a comic and its creator. I was up this week, talking about furnaces, faceless townsfolk, and the secret origins of the NTO story. You can check that out here.
I’ve been eyeballing InkOutbreak and joined their forums recently to sort of get a feel for the place. They don’t hotlink or rehost the comics in any way, right? It’s all done by iframes so that you get all the pageviews and ad impressions, right?
Yup! Just an iframe.
I too am liking the cut of inkOutbreak’s jib. only problem so far, and I’ve had this for a while, is actually forcing myself to read the archives of recommended comics. you’d think it’d be nothing to sit and read comics all night, but…
I know! There’re so, so many.
Checked it out, and it lead me to Hell’s Corners, which I have now read. Good stuff! 🙂
