I think someone’s going to die, and it may be Ellen. Ellen’s dad escalated things by killing Hunter’s dog, so the next step is to take something precious of his away in retaliation: Ellen.
That seems unlikely to me. John seems rather fond of Ellen, and while he’s killed women before, it’s only been in self-defense. Or whatever passes for such in his twisted mind.
I could very well see him accidentally killing Ellen when trying to kill the dad, though.
Agree with Random Spanish Guy. If anything I see her sympathizing with Hunter, possibly running to him and then her dad, angered over it, does something that kills her or starts to and Hunter kills him. But I don’t see Hunter killing her in cold blood (maybe hitting her when aiming for the dad when he does something stupid).
There is often collateral damage around Hunter which he seems to fatally accept at this point, and, in certain cases found it to be karmic to the recipients, but I very much doubt he generally approves of it.
I suppose that the “Good God” part is for poor Lion, but what if it’s due to John unknowingly holding a fireball in his hand – for the first time ever? (I know, it’d probably be too cliche)
Excited 🙂
Not sure how this is going to go. Aside from, not well.

One thing you never do to a man is kill his dog, unless you have a death wish.
