Instead of John Henry Hunter, you should have named this guy John Wick.

So this! this is the pivot point for much of John’s hardness of attitude if he didn’t have it before? I can certainly understand, dragging the dog by the neck would make for a bitter and severe reaction.

You cannot ever harm a man’s dog.

Do anything else, but don’t expect to walk away if you cross that line…

Two wrongs don’t make a right, but that’s not going to stop poor Hunter. They’re going to have to scoop up “Pa” with a broom and dust-pan.

This is one tome I actually feel sorry for Hunter. There’s going to be some real retribution here in a moment me thinks.

So far, Hunter’s doing the right thing … I wonder if Pa’ll try to shoot him in the back or something.

Mess with me I’ll fight back, mess with my dog and they won’t find your body.

Yeah, they might find their ashes, though.

Ashes, that’s cute. You leave that much.

Heh, a rock. A frickin’ ROCK…he’s nice compared to me. If it were my dog I’d rip the guys arm off and beat him to a dry pulp then make chili of the pulp and feed it to his friends. But, I’m funny that way. My dogs are not pets, they are family, friends and employees* and I protect my own.

*I have livestock guardian dogs and herding dogs and yes they work. I don’t tell them what to do or how to do it. I tell them what I need and let them sort it out. Mind, the new pup at a year old still tries to go past the fence line but she is just making sure the perimeter is secure.

Despite the frequency of things happening to animals in the comic I feel the same way re: family vs. pets.

      Thanks for the great comment!
