Oh wow, I’m seeing some of the old gang back again. Familiar faces from the past. Lee Van Cleef, Clint Eastwood…Oh wait, I’m getting stories mixed up here. Sorry. Who’s the gal in the corral with the rope? I don’t remember seeing her before. Now, I should be seeing lots of comments here. Just a beautiful page by Erin here, again. ?
After seeng the near-as-nevermind supernatural action in the last chapters, I don’t think this Muggle posse has a hope against either protagonist. What they gonna do, *shoot* them?
Well Lucas, not quite. It’s actually the Pinkerton type fellow from the end of book 7, Broken Sky. I believe he is modeled after the famed Pinkerton aganr John Scobell.
Bomar, good one on the Lee poster. Yes our character does share a close resemblance to Van Cleef, as Erin has a lot of rich material to work from. Actually this is not his first appearance. if you go back to book 3 “Whisky Bend” you will see the first appearance. https://www.nexttownover.net/?cat=42 He also has a brief appearance at the beginning of book 6 “Red Ridge Express.” And you’re right, we love this Steam Punk Spaghetti Western. ?

No clue, too busy enjoying someone wearing a brown on brown hound’s-tooth outfit.

A beautiful page indeed.
I don’t believe in my hypothesis, but I think the guy in brown is Hunter in disguise! Look the wide shoulders under the clothes!

Oh yes! I forgot this guy and made a mistake! Or two, I lost the chance to stay silent!
That should read Pinkerton “agent”. Sorry.
The TGTB&TU references are coming fast and thick. First JHH’s pet name for Vane [“Angel Eyes.”] Now we have the first[??] onscreen appearance of Lee Van Cleef. A Steam Punk Spaghetti Western! I LOVE It!!
