WOAH! Well that answers a question I should have asked days ago: [I wasn’t expecting another update so quickly.] What exactly can you bring through a Summoning Circle that fits on a Tabletop. Surely NOT some Daemonic Cockroach with World Shaking Power. A Force, or a Spirit … Possibly, but Hunter is alone. Where is the Host? He has seen what that Process has done to Vane, and he’s trying to get RID of That Spirit. No placing that Stone in the Center of Circle says … something else. I think Bxe’s Theory is looking more and MORE likely. This isn’t a Summoning. It’s an IMBUING. The Question becomes WHY? – why a Philosopher’s Stone. Not Transmutation – H.H.R. has no need of Gold. Rejuvenation? – Does he really want an Immortal version of a Demonically Possessed Vane chasing him for the Rest of Eternity? ………. Waiting Is.
Aaaaah holy crap first time reading but I just HAD to document the moment when it all finally came together for me…he took the necklace, so that he could load it into the viewfinder, and use that to find a vein of whatever red crystal that amulet was made out of, and then mine a much larger hunk of crystal from it, so that he could use that large crystal along with the sunlight-flowers and blood mage’s blood to finally complete the circle! Wow. What an elegeant way of visually conveying such a convoluted line of logic…
Hunter over here proving that mages aren’t always squishy.
Multiclass mage/dat beef

Making not summoning.
Well well well, seems we are making a little something.
Dear Lord, that’s beautiful.
AAAAGH
…I just caught up with the story all the way from the beginning and MUST SAVOR THE END!!
But I can wait.
Yep.
Don’t rush.
Make it perfect, just like all the rest of this lovely dusty flaming bloody tale!
New layout! I sorta like it!
Can you update your links over on Comic Rocket? It’s broken since the move.
As an older man with a beard and Ben Franklin style reading glasses, I appreciate you creating a character I can easily cosplay.
