If this scene continues, we may finally find out how Hunter’s back was broken. Based on previous flashbacks, some of us have speculated it happened here, right after Hunter comes in while Vane is in her steampunk exoskeleton. Previous flashbacks have shown us up to this point, and next Hunter laying on the ground in what appears to be the same warehouse. We’ve not seen what happens in-between, if those two scenes are indeed connected.
Yes I think these scenes may be connected, hopefully we will get a little more of the incident. The hard part is stringing them together over the laps of the comic timeline. One has to know what pages to go for those flashback references. Vane is remembering a lot of blood shed and fatal wounds with John Henry, yet he keeps coming back. In the last panel Vane has the most annoyed look on her face, like she wants to do harm to him. So now I have to take a serious look at her and wonder is she a manic psychopath who only craves the experiment and doesn’t really care about anything, or anybody else. also have to wonder what happen in her childhood to give her her mind set. Or is it just in the blood.
What self-respecting woman wouldn’t? How many self-disrespecting women wouldn’t? Although I keep thinking the infidelity may have been Hunter sacrificing that other woman’s life to bring Vane back.

There was that infidelity while she was sick. Perhaps she’s the kind that holds a grudge.
