Ooh. Good idea. Lots of tiny bones that are needed to aim.

Everyone’s so quick to start shooting, yet nobody wants to know why the trail of vengeance is playing out the way it is. Where the hell’s the law man (bounty hunter?) from the end of Broken Sky? (Page 36) Where’s the possie? WELL? ANSWER ME! 😉

I had to enlarge the image on my screen a lot to read what was engraved inside the watch case.

One of the earlier comics showed the watch about five years ago. Erin helpfully put a clear picture of the engraving here.

The giver was obscured at that time, good to have the mystery cleared up (as if!)

Thank you for that … and “click” away. I want backstory.

Thanks for finding the detail shot! From book 4, right?

So “angel eyes” was the missing piece? Guess this confirms the source of the watch. https://www.nexttownover.net/?p=270

Oh and aside to maybe make Erin some sales: the first paperback has a huge enlargement of the inscription in the back in the Hunter bonus pages, but the giver was obscured there too. I imagine it’s in the PDF version also.

“Click”? You’re hunting undead Hell-Spawn on a holy quest and you let CLICK be an option?!

    I can’t even.

Actually, I think the click is him pulling the hammer back. That’s not as foolish with Vane as with Hunter.

Yeah I read the click as cocking the gun too

          Thanks. You’re one cool cat.
So, to reward you, and placate ScholarofFortune, here’s https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCtFcjgo8Ed8XvGchDXBE2vA which name is more about chambering a round in a pump action shotgun than coming up empty.

Either way, I think he should have taken another shot by now. You can’t be too careful with an undead woman with a Gatling gun and fury that Hell hath not.

          Sam, you’re the man.
You’re likely right, BUT, they’ve got her from two angles and being clergy and all may have some kind of code.

That is seriously the biggest misinterpretation of that guy’s actions that I can imagine.
