The scene in the barn where she gets the hole blasted in her gut is one time, but even when she was hanged early on she didn’t bleed from the eyes or anywhere.
Y’know, it hasn’t really dawned on me until now that Hunter is still alive. Alive enough to be healed by blood magic apparently. I guess his world famous suits come with free body armor.
Add to list of reasons to move to Via Dolorosa: badass clergy.
A dagger wielding monk. A pistol packing nun. “By my blood.” “By your blood.” Okay. This is getting a little strange her Erin. And no, Vane’s not dead. She’s just playing possum. Oh, the nun with the gun. Like the bad guy says in the first Dirty Harry movie when he tells Harry to loss the gun. “My. That’s a big one.”
So here’s what I find myself wondering–after someone else pointed out that perhaps it’s Hunter’s past that is now coming to roost on them both: What if what he took generates the equivalent of a tracking device, which he didn’t realize? and thus more than a few people are after that tasty double reward by now? The art is so terrific-I barely know what to say about it!! JUST WOW!!
Not the first time this man is doing… whatever he is doing here. Not the second or third either.
I am going to assume this is related to whatever Hunter found below Broken Sky.
I would say that things don’t look to good for Vane, but well she is already dead, so much worse can it get for her?
Looking forward to next one.
Kinda’ interesting that nothing came forward from that head shot…
…not seeing the artist missing that with her attention to detail (nun shooting left-handed, picnic basket in her right).
I think it’s been established already that Vane doesn’t bleed, but I can’t remember when.

Its just a few locks of her hair getting mussed up.

Two observations – parts of Vane went flying in the trail of the bullet exiting her skull and … creepier somehow … the “nun” has five o’clock shadow.
Oh look! The clergy is here now. Everything will be all right.
