      Judging by Vane’s face?
      Bad. Really bad.

I love the way the opening in the floor is overlaid on Vane’s face-it provides a visual metaphor for how psychologically damaged she is, very cool. But now I am full of speculation about why the song has such an impact on her!? is this another deep memory?

Judging from the look on Vane’s face being surprise and perplexed, beautifully illustrated by Erin, and the way she leaps back from the peep hole upon hearing the music I’d say yes, it’s going to be another flash back moment. Maybe.

I love the Eastwood lip curl in panel two. You can hear Vane’s thoughts saying, “John Henry, you bastard!” Well, that’s what I’m imagining.

This page is just great, once more. I love the lip curl too, and the layout.
Btw, I made a page about NTO on my “favorite-webcomics-webpage”. It’s not much, but, well, here it is:

Whose reaction will be worse: Mama’s, or Vane’s?

I’m speculating Vane. I was under the impression that Mama wanted her daughter to find a fella.
