And I think it also gives me ideas for fresh fanart…
(Glad to know I’ve been missed! Sorry I dropped off the face of the internet, the last year and a half were… pretty bad, but things are looking up now, so we’re back to our scheduled program)
I keep thinking that the emphasis on light and angles of rays can’t get any better, and then Erin delivers this kind of stunning stuff! Just wonderful~ As to our songstress–maybe this time around Vane will use a different tactic, since she’s blown her cover with Hunter so recently…. certainly she’s inventive enough to do more than just drop another stick of dynamite!
I don’t think killing John is what she has in mind, killing him seems to be a secondary objective, I think her primary goal is to simply make life miserable for him
So here’s a thing I am wondering as I come back to upvote this page–does Vane leave a wake of psychic unease behind her? she seems remarkably able to be invisible (relatively) when she wants to be, but it seems that more than Hunter can note her passage. I’m looking at the mother here, and her reaction.
Ah, another convenient hole to drop “things” through. And now it begins. This big dance hall/barn is a perfect tinder box.
“And now we interrupt the hoe-down for something unpleasant.”
Although given the allegations from Hunter’s past, Vane may be saving the girl.
That she may, but I question her methodology when it has so far involved blowing the poor thing into meat confetti.
I will amend my statement to “saving the girl from something Worse.
Yeah, worse than death. She’ll save you, alright. “No, I don’t expect you to thank me, I expect you to die.”
I’m not so sure anymore.
Is it just me, or has Vane turned into Wile E. Coyote this chapter?
Vane has always been Wile E. Coyote.
(Good to see you, BTW)
Now that explains… so much.

I’m sure JHH has noted her entry. They always seem to be able to find each other.
In the first panel it looks to me like the mother took notice of our Dr. Vane….Hmmm this could be interesting.
