That’s some very fancy perspective you’ve got going on in the last panel. Really cool.

In other news, while we most definitely appreciate the amount of seamwork that you sew into your carpets, I am sure you on the other hand are looking forward to our main characters leaving this room 😉

    Now FIGHT!

(although it is more likely that Hunter will escape instead, but one can dream!)

If we’re being totes honest I have hated drawing everything about this chapter except Crawford.

That’s interesting. Any specific reason? The absurd amount of detail of indoor scenery? Because this chapter has some of the most gorgeous art of NTO (which is no small feat). I don’t think there’s a single reader that hasn’t had his jaw drop with the page where Hunter gets into the library, for example.

RSG, I agree. These pages are splendid works to behold.

He just thinks anything he finds of interest is his to keep doesn’t he? no compunctions or hesitations, or maybe that’s what he’s been after all along? As always, love the expressions and the details! Ah, this devil is IN all the details, isn’t he?

“Principia Alchemic” Again Latin, Alchemy Principals? And hear I thought John Henry was very well educated in alchemy, and wizardry. Maybe something even more educating in that old book he’s stealing. In any case it’s looking very dicey between the professor and Hunter. He even calls him by his correct name. RSG, I think you’re right. We may see some fire works here soon. But I think the sooner they are out of that basement the happier Erin will be. 😉 Once again Erin, another stunning page of beautiful illustration. And again I say, motion picture quality.

Is it so wrong I always cheer him on? I’m not sure he’s even the bad guy, but he’s so stylish and smooth.

The title seems to be a nod to Principia Mathematica, a famous book whose title can be translated as “Principles of Mathematics” or “Mathematical Principles.”* Presumably, this book’s title means “Principles of Alchemy” or “Alchemic Principles.”

    _______________
    * Whose title may, in turn, have been a nod to Isaac Newton’s Philosophiæ Naturalis Principia Mathematica, “Mathematical Principles of Natural Philosophy”.

Looks like I may have messed up the link tags in the footnote, as the translation of Newton’s title is not supposed to be a link. Sorry.
