I don’t comment often, but I just gotta throw out another compliment.
I’m diggin’ the more subdued coloring style. I can’t be sure if it’s only been for this particular scene to establish mood, but I like it. This comic is tops. Keep doin’ your thing boss lady.
“That? Oh. I just had a set of four cybernetic tentacle arms grafted to my back when I was experimenting with some high-yield nuclear energy crapola. It was the thing to do as a kid. Just the usual.”
OH MY GOD, THERE’S AN ALTERNATE-UNIVERSE POST-CIVIL WAR THING BETWEEN IMPERIALS AND REPUBLICANS. I JUST HOPE FOR THE SAKE OF THE UNIVERSE THAT TEXAS STILL EXISTS.
Ok,so now I have another big wonderment: does the scar (or metal insert??) somehow call Vane? if it is her handiwork, perhaps there is a residual magnetic/psychic attraction to it that acts like an echo-locator?
Perhaps Ms. Black upgraded him with some steampunk biotech that gives him his fire abilities? 🙂
I’m guessing he was paralysed, the scar indicating work done to his spine…..
Love the setup on that last panel.
Super ditto on this one!
Thanks, guys!
$(#*%#(*$& THAT SCAR!!!!!!!!!
Man, what a love/hate relationship there must be between those two!(assuming Vane is responsible for keeping him alive)

Also, Hunter’s beard. ‘Tis glorious.
Ha. Thanks so much!

What the…? Was he cut in half?! O.O
Imperialists and republicans? What the orange is going on here?

So much smoldering… hatred for the Loyalists! 😉
And whoa whoa whoa, did Hunter’s grey hair just disappear? 😯
Buh! Good catch on your part, flub on mine. :/ The details are really falling through the cracks now that I’m another sleep-deprived parent.
I’ll probably fix this one as soon as I’ve got a second.
As a fellow sleep-deprived parent, I’m more than happy to let you off 🙂
Yeah, the whole comic’s just going to hell… Just look at that horse on the bottle in the background. 😉
To be honest, I wouldn’t have been surprised if the Devil Wanderer could shrug off grey hair like he does harpoon wounds. 😮
Ha. 😀
Fixed, in any case.

Oooooooo! seeing tie-ins with the paralysis page!!! Awesome staging with the mirror!!!
Thanks so much!
I just started reading and, I am sooo hooked! This is one swickedyawtastic comic. You keep doing your thing!
“Swickedyawtastic”? 😀 Very much obliged!
Holy smokes that’s a fantastic reveal. I am excite 🙂 Although I’m guessing he’s going to be dodgy about _that_ too.
Very possibly! Thanks so much.
I admit that I had some trouble seeing that scar in the mirror. It may be the shading or the busy-ness of the splotches. Along with the bandages…
But I found it! And the comments helped ?
