love how his coat jumps out of the frame. (although truth be told, at first I thought he was flashing the poor guy.)

Ha! There is an undeniable striptease bent to that panel that didn’t really hit me until it was colored. The expression on Lee’s face doesn’t help things.

Heh, this scene sounds like the old Marty Robbins song “Cowboy in the Continental Suit.

    Well, done.

Mr. Hunter certainly has a liking for gambling for his acquisitions. First the necklace of Mademoiselle Dauterive, now a new horse. Others’ comments on previous pages about his possible fiddling prowess might be justified, if that transaction gave him a taste for high-stakes wagers.

Or maybe he IS the Devil. Seems those two have an affinity for making and winning wagers…

…but for that whole fiddle thing. But give the Devil his due.

Archive diving (again) and something struck me this time that didn’t previously, 100$ for a horse?? Back then I bet that rancher barely made 100$ a year off his horses. Mr. Hunter is a really good gambler. Also, absolutely love your comic. Keep up the good work.
