I really like this page! Had to look at it for awhile before I could figure out why. It’s just sooo.. Movie-ish? Does that make any sense? Hmm. We have been rather lacking in awsome western movies lately!

Yeah, although the Cohen redux of True Grit was pretty fantastic.

      Anyway, thank you kindly! 🙂

This is going to be a really beautiful graphic novel, or whatever term you may wish to refer to the print edition. Basically: holy crap these pages are amazing! Excellent.

Maybe it was blocked by the dust before, but… is the Outlaw leaving fiery hoofprints?? 😮

The fact that nobody seems too worried about chasing a bucking inferno makes me wonder just how uncommon witchcraft is out there.

Even with 4 people after him. He is still being nice. “Howdy!” lol

He’s still taking the time to tip his hat. From what we’ve seen of his personality, it is reasonable to assume that he is supremely confident that he is going to escape/win, and he is just humoring his pursuers.

He’s still being so polite even though he has a giant grappling hook through his guts, what a gentleman!

…waaiiitaminit. if he can reanimate a horse with flame– (at which point its eyes turn orange and it basically becomes a flame-fueled zombie horse)
    — does that imply vane’s somehow been partially “reanimated” by him? that would explain her unhealthy color and orange eyes… hm.

This does seem to be a possibility. Especially considering the opening scene of issue 1, her reaction to the reanimation ceremony, etc.

If you watch closely you can see her
stepping out of her own funeral pire here:

        and there:
        http://squidbunnies.com/nto/?p=271
Oh, and this Chaoter we saw a flashback panel of Van being branded,
        here:

Yeah, it is safe to assume he revived her.
But why? Did he kill her beforehand?
Did he try to save her? We’ll see I guess.

Ooh, almost had the four horseman of the Apocalypse in that last panel. The paint pony messes it up.

I like JHH immensely. He may be a scoundrel and never pays for a damn thing, but he’s got style and manners.

Wasn’t it $10,000, or did I miss something?
