A (Very Partial) Next Town Over Soundtrack
on July 6, 2012 and modified on July 6, 2012.
I have a Next Town Over “soundtrack” over 1500 songs long that I generally listen to when I’m working on the comic. I thought it would be cool if I could share some of it legally, but unfortunately Spotify still hasn’t allowed much customization of sizes for their Play iframes and there’s no permanent place in the current NTO layout for me to shoehorn their defaults — not to mention not everyone uses Spotify. I barely do, myself.
But in the meantime, if you do use Spotify, here’s a few NTO-flavored songs.

Good form! Thanks! I recently put together a playlist for a Deadlands RPG campaign I am running, and it just got better thanks to this. Phenomenal comic BTW.
Thanks and you’re welcome! I’ll be beefing it up in the future, hopefully; maybe you’ll find some other new additions for future sessions.
You could try making a playlist through youtube or grooveshark. Both are free, but grooveshark may be the better choice.
Thanks for this – I have a Deadlands game too…
You’re quite welcome — I hope to make it less lean real soon. It’s crazy how many Deadlands players/GMs found their way here.
I love Fleet Foxes. Good choice!
They are pretty great, and their sound lends itself to the western adventure vibe on a couple songs. 🙂
thank you for posting this – I’m not a spotify user, but having this information like this made it very easy for me to find the music on my own. thank you.
Alas, Spotify doesn’t work outside the US, but 8tracks works everywhere and it’s a grand and lovely thing. If you’re looking for some great soundtrack stuff, you could look up: http://8tracks.com/misterguignol
Bastion soundtrack? Nice.
I don’t have spotify but wonder if “Desperado” is on your list?
I like Michael Bross’ soundtrack for the Videogame – Stranger’s Wrath.
It’s for the old XBox, but if you want to play a badass bounty hunter with a weird west theme, this is your game.
I was happy to see the Bastion Soundtrack in this =D
Just started your fine webcomic. Thought I would add a song that should be on here ;). Fits the theme well i think.
